About the Author

Allan Matheson’s formative years were spent on his parent’s sheep and cattle farm, in the Western District of Victoria, Australia.

After his schooling in the nearby small town of Hawkesdale, Allan completed his initial teacher training in Ballarat, continuing with further Education studies at the Central Queensland University and Brisbane College of Advanced Education.

His love of children’s literature led to the writing of ‘HENRY’, a mainly fictional story from the eyes of the piglet, Allan’s father purchased to fatten to become a porker.

‘HENRY: My New Home’ is the first of a series of 3 books, all about HENRY’s adventures on Allan’s parent’s farm. The books are all fun to read and educational. Children will learn about ‘farm life’ as they read about HENRY’s adventures.
